Parents with children at a secondary school which has been largely closed for almost a month because of unsafe concrete have been holding a protest during a visit from the schools minister.
Many pupils at St Leonard’s Catholic School in Durham have only been allowed into school for one day a week of face-to-face teaching, with the other four days taught online.
Baroness Barran issued a statement after her visit saying her department is working hard with the school to get pupils back to face-to-face learning.
