Protester’s ‘very scary’ experience at Sarah Everard vigil

The Home Secretary has ordered a review into the way that Saturday’s vigil here in Clapham was policed, describing the events of that night as “distressing”.

Images of the police dragging away protesters, especially one photograph of student Patsy Stevenson being pinned down by two officers, have been shared around the world, encapsulating the widespread anger over the police response.
