President Biden pledges ‘relentless diplomacy’ rather than war

In his first speech to the United Nations US president Joe Biden has laid out his country’s plans for “a new era of relentless diplomacy”.

He outlined how working together was the key to fighting the many issues the world faces such as climate change and the global pandemic. Facing criticisms both at home and abroad, the administration hopes to turn a page.
