People with autism and learning disabilities locked in mental health hospitals in England

Eight years after the government and health bosses pledged to provide homes for people with autism and learning disabilities in England, thousands are still locked in mental health hospitals. Many are children, and some have been there for years, even decades. The promises were made after people were filmed being abused at the Winterbourne View care home. This week parents are campaigning around the country for supported housing for their children.
