Partygate: Will Sue Gray report face further delay after Met Police intervention?

The much-anticipated Sue Gray report into Downing Street lockdown parties was expected to land on Boris Johnson’s desk this week.

On Tuesday, a police investigation into the alleged Covid-rule breaking seemed to delay the process.

And this morning, the Metropolitan Police said it had asked Sue Gray to leave out key details about events that they are investigating, although they say they had not delayed the publication of the inquiry.
