One million job vacancies in the UK for first time

There has been some very good news out today about the UK’s jobs market, with the number of people in work rebounding to pre-pandemic levels.

New figures from the Office for National Statistics show job vacancies in June, July and August rose above one million for the first time since records began 20 years ago.
