Ohio vote delivers victory for abortion rights

Voters in Ohio have roundly defeated a proposal which would have made it more difficult to enshrine abortion rights into the state’s constitution.

More than 56 percent of voters rejected the measure, which campaigners see as their first victory in a series of upcoming battles over reproductive rights.
