NHS England draws up plan to give Covid jab to secondary school children aged 12 and over

Children aged 12 and over could be offered the Covid jab when they go back to school this autumn, as the government said it was looking at different ‘contingencies’ to make the gradual easing of restrictions as safe as possible.

And starting next weekend, in a special trial, tens of thousands of people contacted by NHS test and trace in England will be told they don’t have to self-isolate, if they take daily Covid tests instead.
