3mMet Police: Mother of murdered sisters launches campaign to tackle institutional racism
Speaking at the launch of a campaign group that aims to hold police forces across the country to account for the way they police people of colour, bereaved mother Mina Smallman insisted: “We are not the enemy, we are the cure”.
Her daughters were murdered in 2020. Today she called for police and Black communities to work together to bring about real and lasting change.
