London’s theatreland to dim lights in tribute to late composer Stephen Sondheim

Lights will be dimmed in London’s theatreland on Monday to honour the composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim who died yesterday, at the age of ninety one.

Credited with reinventing musical theatre he was responsible for some of the most iconic shows including West Side Story and Sweeney Todd.
