Ken Clarke says he’d vote against government in confidence vote to prevent no-deal Brexit

The Tory grandee claims that ‘very right-wing English nationalists’ have ‘seized control of the government’.

Once again we asked for an interview with a representative from the Government – and once again there was no one available to appear on this programme.

But we did speak to the Conservative MP and Father of the House Ken Clarke, who earlier accused Boris Johnson of telling “blatant lies”.

We began by asking him if the suspension of parliament amounted to a coup against his House.
