Journalist Marie Colvin ‘targeted by Syrian government’ when she was killed

International Editor

A judge in Washington DC has unsealed evidence suggesting that the Sunday Times correspondent Marie Colvin was targeted by the Syrian government when she was killed in Homs in 2012. The documents are part of a civil case brought by Colvin’s family, who claim that orders to kill her and other journalists in an artillery attack were given at the highest level.
