Istanbul hit by giant hailstones

If you think the weather here is a bit unsummery, spare a thought for Istanbul, which has been battered by giant hailstones the size of golf balls. The torrential storm, which lasted around 20 minutes, forced people to run for cover as the hailstones smashed on to buildings and cars. Thousands of emergency workers were deployed to clean up the aftermath.
