The Israeli military appears to have stepped up its operations in Rafah – despite the warnings of its allies, and global outrage over the deaths of 45 people following a strike close to a refugee camp on Sunday night.
Today, Gazan health officials said a new strike on a cluster of tents killed at least 21, and injured scores more.
The IDF has denied carrying out any attacks in the area.
This latest incident happened in the al-Mawasi coastal area – where Israel had advised civilians to take shelter.
Meanwhile, Israeli tanks and armoured vehicles were spotted close to the Al-Awda Mosque – right in the heart of Rafah.
