Inside a UK intensive care ward – on the frontline against coronavirus

It’s that place where none of us want to end up- yet every day – tens of  thousand of medical professionals go there.

The complex machines and equipment of intensive care units up and down the country are driven by these men and women as they carry out life-saving procedures.

Channel 4 News was granted special access inside an intensive care unit at one NHS trust in Kent for a documentary, Are We Winning the Battle Against Coronavirus? to be broadcast on Channel 4 tonight.
