Hurricane Sally is bringing “historic and catastrophic flooding” to the southern US as it sweeps along the Gulf coast with dangerous levels of wind and rain.

Alabama, Florida and Mississippi have all declared states of emergency – while hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses are without power.
