How will Liz Truss handle spiralling energy bills?

Liz Truss has named growing the economy as her first priority, but to do that she’ll need to get to grips with priority number two: getting a handle on spiralling energy bills.

She said she’d unveil a plan this week, giving no details on what it will look like – but many expect some kind of price freeze. Speculation – much of it contradictory – is rife about how it will work.
