Health Secretary denies breaking 10pm drinking curfew in Commons bar

Scotland’s hospitality minister has warned tonight that there’s no guarantee that pubs and restaurants which have been closed down as part of new covid restrictions across much of the country will be able to open again in two weeks time.

Millions of people in England now face the prospect of similar tight restrictions.
