‘Have you seen the smoke?’ The last poem of Lebanese poet killed in Israeli strike

In Lebanon the Israeli offensive has continued in the south, leaving 43 dead and 140 injured, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

Israel has said it aims to occupy south Lebanon up to the Litani River, which meets the Mediterranean about 30 kilometres from Israel’s border.

With the Israeli military attempting to establish a security belt up to 8 kilometres inside Lebanon and targeting villages across Southern Lebanon.
