Guerilla Girls: Anonymous art collective on calling out sexism and inequality in the arts

For almost four decades the Guerrilla Girls have been using their campaigning art to highlight sexism and inequality in the arts. The members of this feminist collective, wear masks to ensure the focus remains on their message, not their appearance. But is their work still necessary in 2024?

We went to meet two founding members at London’s Tate Modern, where they’ll be hosting an art event tomorrow night.
