Greta Thunberg: Heatwaves start of “escalating existential crisis”

The world’s most famous climate campaigner Greta Thunberg has been out protesting in London. Her target was the government’s plans to develop the Rosebank oilfield in the North Sea.

Speaking exclusively to Channel 4 News, she called this summer’s heatwaves the beginning of a “rapidly escalating existential crisis”, telling British politicians: there can be no more business as usual.
