Grenfell fire: Housing developers must replace unsafe cladding or face ban

The government has issued an ultimatum to the construction industry – you’ve got six weeks to replace unsafe cladding or be banned from building until you do.

The announcement comes on the day former Labour Minister, Lord Boateng, begins a new job heading the committee which will decide what the memorial to Grenfell Tower should be.
