Government mulls Anglesey nuclear power station investment

The government is to consider making a multi-billion pound investment in a new nuclear power station. The Business Secretary told the Commons that the government is considering sharing in the construction costs of a new plant at Wylfa in Anglesey in North Wales. There’s no decision yet on another major energy project in Wales, the proposed tidal lagoon in Swansea.
