Government advisors say UK failing to deliver climate change policies

Despite setting bold and ambitious targets on tackling climate change – the government’s independent advisors say ministers have failed to come up with the policies to make them happen.

The Climate Change Committee says the UK needs to “step up very rapidly” in order to persuade other countries to come up with credible plans. And it’s made around 200 recommendations to reach that net zero commitment.
