It might not be the first thing you think about when climate change is mentioned.

But the impact of rising sea levels and more extreme weather on the rich heritage of our coasts is being studied by a team of scientists and archaeologists.

Working in locations ranging from shipwrecks to Iron Age forts, they’re assessing what effect it’s having – and trying to document some sites before they’re lost to the sea forever.
