Fears for flooded Yorkshire village as more rain forecast

North of England Correspondent

Residents of a severely flooded village in south Yorkshire have been warned more rain is on the way – with five severe flood warnings in force along the River Don.

Around 1,200 homes and businesses in the village of Fishlake have already been evacuated – the first time it’s been flooded for a hundred years.

Emergency services have urged people to leave, but not everyone is heeding the advice.
