‘Don’t kill your Gran’- Hancock issues warning to young people to curb Covid spread

Young people have been warned to stick to social distancing rules and avoid the risk of sparking a second wave of coronavirus.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock said the surge in cases seen in France and Spain had begun with young people – warning “we’ve seen where this leads, and it’s not a good place”.

His comments come as the UK reported a second day of almost 3,000 new cases, though the number of deaths still remain low.
