Disabled actor to play Richard III at RSC

The Royal Shakespeare Company is starting previews of its latest production of Richard III.

In a major breakthrough, the title role will be played by Arthur Hughes, the first time the company has cast a disabled actor in a lead role.

So could this be the moment the most famous disabled character in British theatre is claimed by the disabled community?
