Cyber attack: Greater Manchester police officers’ details hacked

Greater Manchester Police have confirmed the personal details of thousands of their officers and staff have been hacked – in a major security breach that could potentially jeopardise undercover officers.

The ransomware attack targeted a third-party company which supplies the force’s ID badges.
