Covid: Sturgeon urges Scots to limit socialising ahead of Christmas

Data Correspondent and Presenter

In Scotland, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has issued what she has called “strong guidance”  to counter the threat of the Omicron variant.

Now the advice will be to limit social gatherings either side of the Christmas holiday to a maximum of three households.

Hospitality and retail will see a return of rules for distancing and employers will now have a “legal duty” to enable working from home where possible.
