Covid most likely came from a Chinese lab leak, says Director of FBI

The head of America’s FBI has said he believes that the Coronavirus pandemic most likely originated in a Chinese lab. Christopher Wray said agency assessments had long suggested that “a potential lab incident” in Wuhan was behind the outbreak.

That’s not a view shared by many scientists, who say there’s no evidence pointing to such a finding. China, meanwhile, has pushed back against the lab leak allegations.
