London’s busiest airports – Heathrow and Gatwick – are the latest buildings to discover the presence of Raac concrete, which has caused so much chaos to dozens of schools. Safety precautions have already been put in place – and neither airport has reported any risk to the travelling public.
Parents of children at the affected schools are having to cope with a much more disrupted start to the school year – including some children who’ve had to go back to learning from home.
