Carwyn Jones defends his handling of Carl Sargeant claims

An emotional First Minister of Wales Carwyn Jones has today insisted he “acted by the book” in his treatment of former assembly member Carl Sargeant, who was found dead on Tuesday. Mr Sargeant, who was facing allegations of “unwanted attention, inappropriate touching or groping”, had been sacked from the Welsh government days earlier. His family say he was denied natural justice.
