‘Care system in crisis’ – Children living hundreds of miles from community

Children placed in care are too often being sent miles away from their local communities, according to a leading charity.

It has found that in England, such cases are increasing because there’s not enough suitable accommodation closer to home.

One woman who grew up in care told this programme that she ended up hundreds of miles away from her siblings and grandparents.
