Cancer patients struggling to die with dignity in Malawi

A topic we do not often like to talk about: dying.

The great leveller for everyone in the world, rich or poor.

But for all too many comfort and dignity are lacking in their final days.

In Malawi, like many African countries, a growing number of cancer patients is placing an even greater strain on limited palliative care services – with more people having to face their last weeks and months without adequate care or pain medication.
