Two more Plebgate arrests – now eight in total

To refresh, this is the list –

1. 15 December 2012. Male, 52, police constable in Diplomatic Protection Group (DPG) on suspicion of misconduct in public office

2. 19 December 2012. Male, 23, not police, on suspicion of intentionally encouraging or assisting the commission of an indictable offence (misconduct in public office)

3. 31 January 2013. Male, 46 police officer in DPG, on suspicion of unauthorised disclosure of information to the media. This man was NOT present in Downing Street at the time of the Mitchell incident on the night of 19 September

4. 1 February 2013. Female, 46, police officer in DPG, in connection with unauthorised disclosure of information to the media. She was present in Downing Street at the time of the incident;

5. 15 June 2013. Male, 48, PC in DPG, on suspicion of misconduct in public office

6. 15 June 2013. Female, 49, not police, on suspicion of assisting an offender

7. 3 July 2013. Female, 37, PC in DPG, on suspicion of misconduct in public office

8. 3 July 2013. Female, 46, not police, on suspicion of assisting commission of an offence of misconduct in public office.
