The Prime Minister is under mounting pressure to reveal how the revamp of his Downing Street flat was funded – as opposition MPs demanded full disclosure.
Mr Johnson’s former chief advisor Dominic Cummings claimed yesterday he’d warned Mr Johnson that the idea of getting the renovations secretly funded by Tory donors would be “unethical, foolish and possibly illegal.”
Number 10 has insisted that all the appropriate codes of conduct and electoral law have been followed.
