Blood test that could detect 50 types of cancer to be trialled by NHS

It’s being described as a potential  “game changer” blood test that could help to save many lives – a test that can screen for more than 50 forms of cancer.

Under the NHS trial, 165,000 people in England will initially be offered the Galleri test, which can help identify the signs of cancers which are notoriously hard to diagnose early.
