Belarus opposition figure arrested in his office by masked men

Another leading Belarus opposition figure has been arrested, as the authorities continue to crack down on dissent.

Maxim Znak was snatched from his office by unidentified people wearing ski masks. European diplomats also gathered at the apartment of the Nobel prize winning writer Svetlana Alexievich – after she said masked men had tried to break in – telling reporters “they are trying to abduct the best of us”.
