Australia to deploy military to help tackle fires

Australia says it will deploy military aircraft and vessels to help emergency crews fighting the bush fires in New South Wales and Victoria.

Thousands of people have been forced to shelter on beaches as the fires spread – with temperatures soaring above forty Celsius in every state across the country.
