At least eight Israelis injured in Palestinian attack in revenge against military operation in Jenin

At least eight Israelis have been injured after a Palestinian attacker rammed his car into a crowded bus stop in Tel Aviv, before stabbing people at random.

The militant Hamas group described it as revenge for Israel’s large-scale military operation in the occupied West Bank town of Jenin – in which 11 Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded.

Jenin was the scene of one of the most violent episodes of the Second Intifada or uprising twenty years ago.

Will it lift the curtain on the Third Intifada?
