Arrest warrant cancelled for former PM of Pakistan, Imran Khan

There have been chaotic scenes today in Pakistan after police tried to arrest former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

There were clashes between police and his supporters at his residence and near a court complex in Lahore. But when he arrived at court to face charges of selling state gifts, his arrest warrant was cancelled by court officials.
The former cricketer denies the charges and has said that his opponents are trying to prevent him running for election later this year.
