3.5 million receive the vaccine as new travel restrictions come into place

More than 3.55 million people in the UK have now received their first dose of the vaccine.

And on Monday, tough new travel restrictions will take effect aimed at reducing the spread of new variants of the virus.

But the aviation industry is demanding more support from the government, warning that the restrictions are threatening the survival of airports and airlines.
