This is how West Ham fans are standing up to racism

West Ham fans post a cheeky video online in which they invite a black man onto the train.

The video – posted on twitter by fan Arron Thomas – appeared to take a dig at some Chelsea fans – who were seen last week preventing a black man from boarding a train in Paris.

The West Ham fans film themselves welcoming a black man on board saying “this is how we do it at West Ham.”

Chelsea racism row

Police on Saturday investigated a second allegation of racism involving Chelsea fans, after a complaint that men returning from a match in Paris chanted racist slogans at London’s St Pancras station.

The incident happened on Wednesday evening, the day after Chelsea played Paris St Germain in the Champions League.

The day before, supporters of the Premier League leaders were caught on camera preventing a black man, identified only as Souleymane, from boarding a Metro train while chanting racist comments before the 1-1 draw at Paris St Germain.
