Bigger than Hitler, Better than Christ – comedian Rik Mayall has died aged 56, but if the title of his autobiography gives you any clues, his comedy will not be forgotten any time soon.
The comedian and actor died this morning, his management firm said.
From Alan B’stard to Rick in The Young Ones, the 56-year-old star is one of Britain’s most famous comic stars.
In 1998 he had a severe quad-biking accident and was left in a coma for several days, but recovered and was working until recently.
