Can Obama’s Axelrod help Labour? ‘Yes he can’
David Axelrod, the man who masterminded President Obama’s two election victories, will advise Labour ahead of the 2015 election. Can he do the same for Ed Miliband?
The Labour Party has paid a six-figure sum to US election strategist David Axelrod in a bid to help Ed Miliband ahead of next year’s election.
Mr Axelrod was an architect of Barack Obama’s victory over John McCain in the 2008 presidential race and helped his re-election in 2012. He will work alongside Shadow Foreign Secretary Douglas Alexander who is to run Labour’s general election strategy.
