Three 7/7 'friends' not guilty
Updated on 28 April 2009
Waheed Ali, Sadeer Saleem and Mohammed Shakil are found not guilty of carrying out a reconnaissance mission to establish targets for the 7/7 attacks.
The three friends of the July 7 bombers have been cleared of helping them carry out the attacks.
But two of them, Ali and Shakil, were convicted of planning to attend a terrorist training camp in Pakistan.
After years in detention and hours of evidence presented in two trials, still no-one has been convicted in connection with the bombings on 7 July 2005 that killed 52 people.
