EU force saves ship from pirates

A joint European Union force patrolling the sea off Somalia helps to rescue a Chinese ship from pirates. More4 News reports.
The attackers boarded the vessel on Wednesday, but sailors held them off for several hours, giving the international coalition time to send in one of its six warships.
The catalyst for the establishment of the task force, and for tough new measures agreed by the United Nations this week, was the hijack of the oil tanker Sirius Star, whose crew members are now entering their second month in captivity.
