Whale rescue operation in Tasmania

There is a rescue mission to save dozens of beached whales and dolphins in Tasmania.

A frantic race against time has been launched in Tasmania to save dozens of pilot whales washed up on a beach over the weekend.

Two hundred of them came ashore on King Island last night but at least three-quarters of these have already died.
