Tories: defuse borrowing bombshell

Conservative leader David Cameron says his party will cut back on Labour's spending plans if it wins the next election.
At a speech in London this morning Mr Cameron did not spell out where the axe would fall, but said restraint would be necessary to avert tax rises in future.
Mr Cameron said a Conservative government's priority would be to "defuse the borrowing bombshell".
And the Conservative leader pre-empted Labour attacks on the policy.
